Weave Robotics · Humanoid · 2026
Isaac is the home robot from Weave Robotics, a California startup founded by two ex-Apple engineers (YC-backed) on a mission to take housework off people's hands. Its first shipping product, Isaac 0 (from February 2026), is a deliberately pared-down stationary version: a fixed carbon-fibre torso with a 4-DOF neck, two 6-DOF arms and simple grippers (~19 DOF total) that folds a typical load of laundry in 30-90 minutes. It runs on a standard 600 W / 120 V outlet with dual-band Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and blends on-board autonomy with 'Remote Op' — a Weave specialist briefly teleoperates the arms for 5-10 seconds when the robot hits a tricky garment, feeding data back to improve the models weekly. Priced at US$7,999 (or $450/month) with a two-year warranty, Isaac 0 is the first step toward Weave's fuller mobile home humanoid, Isaac (~$59,000), which remains in development.
