VinRobotics · Humanoid · 2026
The VR-H3, from VinRobotics (a subsidiary of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup), is the company's third-generation industrial humanoid — a pioneer of Vietnam's entry into industrial humanoids, unveiled at ICRA 2026 in Vienna and COMPUTEX Taipei 2026. Standing about 178 cm and 75-85 kg, it uses more than 31 smart motors driving rotary joints that mimic human kinematics for fluid walking, gesturing and object manipulation in crowded or hazardous factory environments, with each arm lifting around 3 kg. Two onboard edge computers process sensory and operational data locally for low-latency autonomous control, its bipedal locomotion is trained via reinforcement learning with bio-inspired gait design, domain randomization and curriculum learning, and swappable batteries support continuous operation. VinRobotics developed the key technologies in-house — mechanical structure, computing platform, battery management, electrical architecture and AI control software — and demonstrated VR-headset teleoperation with built-in motion capture requiring no external trackers. NOTE: specs from VinRobotics official + ICRA 2026 coverage — verified; development-stage prototype.
