Motion 2 is the second-generation humanoid from VinMotion (Hanoi) — the robotics subsidiary of Vingroup, Vietnam's largest conglomerate, and Vietnam's first major humanoid push. Shown Dec 2025 with a humanlike gait, lifting 40kg with its back, karate-chopping wood, five-fingered hands and self-charging. It builds on the Motion1 (June 2025), targeting light-duty industrial tasks (material transport, visual inspection, assembly) at VinFast factories. Led by Quan Nguyen (CMU PhD, USC professor, worked on MIT Cheetah), backed by $39M. Semi-autonomous with human-in-loop + adaptive learning. Specs captured into additional specs.
