RobotEra · Humanoid · 2025
The RobotEra Q5 is a wheeled service humanoid from Beijing's ROBOTERA (founded 2023), a super-humanoid built for professional service scenarios. At 1,650 mm and 65 kg with 44 full-body DOF — including the agile 11-DOF XHAND Lite (StarMotion 'Elf Hand') for precise manipulation — it can squat to pick up objects, twist its waist, shake hands and lift up to 10 kg with a single arm. High-precision bionic 7-axis joints and harmonic-drive actuators give it smooth motion; a lithium battery with BMS powers it; and a sensor suite of Livox Mid-360 LiDAR, IMU, stereo RGB cameras and torque sensors drives LiDAR-visual fusion navigation. It supports full-body teleoperation through gloves and VR (plus 2.4G wireless), recognises 37+ languages, and learns new tasks from human demonstration videos, improving via a closed loop of teleoperation, data collection and model iteration shared with RobotEra's STAR1 platform. It targets commercial services, cultural tourism, hotels, elderly care and education. NOTE: full spec cross-verified from RobotEra official + databases (165cm/65kg/44DOF/10kg/XHAND-Lite 11-DOF).
