Reflex, from New York's Reflex Robotics, is a wheeled humanoid mobile manipulator — a dual-arm humanoid upper body on a wheeled base rather than legs, a deliberate choice (shared with Weave, Galbot and others) to reach real deployments faster and cheaper while sidestepping the reliability and cost burdens of bipedal balance. With a telescoping torso for variable working height, it targets practical tasks like logistics, material handling and general labor, and uses a teleoperation-to-autonomy pipeline: human operators guide the robot while the collected data trains increasing autonomy. Reflex positions the platform for fleet deployment in commercial settings.
