HUBO is the pioneering Korean research humanoid developed at KAIST and commercialised by Rainbow Robotics - a full bipedal platform (~125 cm) that became the basis for the DRC-HUBO that won the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge. Widely used for humanoid locomotion and manipulation research.
