Billed as the first certified Italian cognitive humanoid, RoBee is built by Oversonic Robotics (Brianza, founded 2020) for real industrial work — manufacturing, intralogistics, healthcare and hazardous environments. It stands 175 cm, weighs 80 kg and has 40 joints, moving on an omnidirectional wheeled base at up to 1.2 m/s with up to 8 hours of autonomy and inductive charging. Bimanual arms with a 90 cm reach carry ~10 kg and use humanoid hands, grippers or pneumatic end-effectors to sub-millimetre accuracy. A cognitive AI stack handles computer vision, face/object recognition, emotion adaptation, voice and cloud fleet management, with ERP/MES integration and R (industry), M (medical) and F (intralogistics) variants.
