Noetix Robotics · Humanoid · 2025
The Noetix N2 (Athlete N2) is a compact, child-sized bipedal humanoid from Beijing's Noetix Robotics (Songyan Dynamics), built to deliver showcase-level agility at a low price. Standing about 1.18 m and weighing ~30 kg with 18 degrees of freedom, the N2 performs continuous backflips, somersaults, running (up to ~3.5 m/s), jumps and dancing — using a lightweight bionic design that pulls heavy joints toward the torso to cut limb inertia for aerial moves, with up to ~150 N·m peak knee torque. It runs deep-reinforcement-learning gaits and LLM-driven speech/vision interaction on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin edge module, with dual depth cameras for 3D perception and a 48 V quick-swap battery good for ~2 hours that changes in under five seconds. The N2 shot to global attention finishing second in the world's first humanoid half-marathon in Beijing (April 2025) and even walked Paris Fashion Week. Priced from about ¥39,900 (~US$5,500), it targets education, research, elder care and developer use, and helped triple Noetix's valuation amid 2,500+ pre-orders.
