The Noetix Bumi is a compact, consumer-priced bipedal humanoid from Beijing's Noetix Robotics — designed to bring genuine legged locomotion to classrooms, makerspaces and homes at a price previously reserved for wheeled toys. Standing 980 mm and about 17 kg with 21 DOF, it delivers stable walking, dynamic dance routines, voice interaction and a full graphical programming environment in a kid-safe, easy-to-carry chassis. Its proprietary N-shaped TIX force-controlled joint modules produce up to 70 N·m peak knee torque for stable walking and dynamic recovery, and it sees via a structured-light depth camera, running 2-3 hours per charge.
