Cog

MIT AI Lab · Research · 1993

MIT’s upper-torso humanoid (1993–2003) built on the thesis that human-like intelligence requires a human-like body. Cog learned eye-hand coordination, object tracking and social cueing, seeding the embodied-AI movement and the humanoid wave that followed.
