LimX Dynamics · Humanoid · 2024
The LimX TRON 2, unveiled December 2024, is a multi-form embodied robot — one body with three configurations (dual-arm, bipedal, wheeled) — built as an all-terrain development platform for VLA research, mobile manipulation and full-body motion control. Its dual 7-DoF arms offer a class-leading 70cm reach with spherical human-like wrists, 5kg-per-arm max payload (3kg extended), 5 m/s end-effector speed, ±0.5mm repeatability and interchangeable grippers (20N force, 85mm width) or dexterous hands, with dual-redundant power that locks the arms safely on power loss. Its wheel-legged base carries 30kg on flat ground (20kg stair-climbing) at up to 5 m/s, climbing 30° slopes and 20cm steps. It runs an AI computing box (11th-Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7, 2TB), supports VR teleoperation (Oculus Quest 3, 100ms delay), waist/head/wrist RGBD cameras, EtherCAT/RS485/Ethernet, ROS1/ROS2 and Python/C++ SDKs, powered by a swappable 9Ah ternary-lithium pack (2800W, 30-min fast charge). All specs verified from LimX's official TRON 2 spec page.
