LimX Dynamics · Humanoid · 2024

The LimX P1 is LimX Dynamics' point-foot biped research robot, first shown March 2024 — the one-off experimental predecessor to the commercial TRON 1. Built as a platform for systematic reinforcement-learning development, P1 famously navigated the wild terrain of Shenzhen's Tanglang Mountain using zero-shot learning (trained purely in simulation, with no forest/hiking data), demonstrating dynamic locomotion and push/kick recovery over unpredictable ground. It moves up to 0.5 m/s, carries ~10 kg, and runs an Intel Core embedded computer with an RGBD camera and IMU, supporting Gazebo, MuJoCo and Isaac Gym simulation. As an internal research prototype it has limited published specifications; unpublished fields are flagged for outreach rather than guessed. Verified from LimX's official P1 materials.
