The LimX Dynamics CL-1, debuted late 2023 by the Shenzhen startup (founded 2022), is one of the few humanoids capable of dynamic stair climbing via real-time terrain perception — the capability behind its viral warehouse-stairs video. At 1,650 mm, it was developed from LimX's point-foot biped P1 as a locomotion research platform, using proprietary hollow direct-drive actuators for deep squats, slope walking and push-recovery, with vision-LiDAR terrain perception at up to 4 km/h. Per LimX and The Robot Report, CL-1 was purely a bipedal platform and was never fitted with functional/articulated hands — later warehouse demos used simple paddle end-effectors to move totes. Hand-specific spec sections are therefore not applicable and omitted. Richer figures (31 DOF, 7-DOF arms, AGX Orin) belong to the later CL-3/Oli, not CL-1, and are excluded.
