Second humanoid robot in space (after Robonaut 2) and the first robot to hold a conversation in space. Tiny 34 cm humanoid developed by Toyota, University of Tokyo, Dentsu, and JAXA. Launched to the ISS on the Kounotori 4 cargo vehicle in August 2013 to serve as a communication companion for Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata. Conducted Japan's first 'robot conversation in space' on 7 August 2013.
