Honor · Humanoid · 2026
Yuanqi Zai (元气仔) is smartphone maker Honor's first humanoid robot, debuted on stage at MWC 2026 in Barcelona (March 1) alongside its Robot Phone — a matte-black service humanoid with a head-mounted camera and a glowing chest strip, demonstrated walking, dancing, posing and interacting with Honor's CEO on stage. Honor positions it for shopping assistance, workplace inspections and companionship, part of the company's broader push beyond smartphones into physical/embodied AI under its 'Augmented Human Intelligence' strategy, backed by a reported $10 billion AI investment. It represents the wave of Chinese consumer-electronics giants (alongside Xiaomi's CyberOne and Xpeng) entering humanoid robotics. NOTE: Honor deliberately disclosed NO formal specifications, pricing or commercial timeline at the reveal — height, weight, DOF, payload, battery and actuators are all UNpublished and flagged for outreach, NOT invented. This is a development-stage reveal; only confirmed design features and stated purpose are recorded.
