The industrial humanoid from Hexagon Robotics — the new division of Hexagon AB, the $28B Swedish precision-measurement giant. AEON is a 1.65 m, 60 kg humanoid with 34 degrees of freedom and five-fingered hands that moves at up to 8.6 km/h and carries 15 kg. It folds Hexagon's metrology heritage into a mobile platform: a fused RGB/depth/LiDAR/force sensor suite captures centimetre-accurate reality data and digital twins that upload to Hexagon's Reality Cloud Studio. An onboard NVIDIA Jetson Orin runs motion planning, spatial AI and edge LLM reasoning, with hot-swappable batteries for round-the-clock uptime. An NVIDIA GR00T ecosystem partner, AEON is piloting at BMW's Leipzig plant and is the subject of a 1,000-unit Schaeffler deployment commitment.
