DroidUp · Humanoid · 2026
Moya, from Shanghai startup DroidUp (Zhuoyide), is billed as the world's first fully biomimetic embodied-intelligence humanoid. Its standout feature is heated silicone skin held at a human-like 32-36 C (90-97 F), designed to trigger the warmth-based bonding cues people use to feel kinship. Standing 1.65 m and weighing just 32 kg, it walks on DroidUp's tendon-driven 'Walker 3' skeleton at about 0.83 m/s with a claimed 92% human-like gait, while AI cameras behind its eyes track people and drive micro-expressions across roughly 25 facial degrees of freedom. Configurable in male or female forms, Moya targets healthcare, elder care, education and public-service reception, with commercial launch planned for late 2026 at around US$173,000.
