AKINCI-5 is a humanoid from AKINROBOTICS (Konya, Turkey) — the latest in the AKINCI series, billed as Turkey's first humanoid robot line (R&D since 2009). AKINROBOTICS built what it calls the world's first humanoid robot factory (Konya, 2015). The AKINCI robots walk on two legs, speak Turkish, recognize and track objects/humans, maintain balance against external forces via balance sensors, and grasp with 5-fingered hands. Earlier prototypes: AKINCI-P (2010), AKINCI-1 (2011), AKINCI-2 (2013, ~65kg), AKINCI-3 (~85kg/160cm/2h). Specs captured into additional specs pending an AKINCI-5 datasheet.
