AGIBOT · Humanoid · 2025
A hybrid-mobility variant of AGIBOT's compact Lingxi X2 (AGIBOT / Zhiyuan Robotics, Shanghai; the world's #1 humanoid producer by 2025 shipments), debuted at CES 2026 with a Tai Chi demonstration. The X2-N transforms its feet into wheels to switch between bipedal walking and wheeled rolling, using proprioceptive feedback — joint torque, pressure sensors and gyros rather than cameras — to adapt in real time, climb stairs and traverse ramps with light loads. It shares the X2 chassis (~1.31 m, ~35 kg, ~28 DoF) with AGIBOT's Xyber-Edge 'cerebellum' controller and Xyber-DCU decision unit, and is programmable through the ROS2-based AimDK_X2 framework in Python or C++.
