First remote-controlled robotic rover to land on another world. Soviet 8-wheeled lunar rover delivered by Luna 17 on 17 November 1970. Operated for 322 Earth days across 11 lunar days, traveled 10.54 km, and returned 20,000+ TV pictures and 200+ panoramas before its RTG depleted. Discovered in 2010 by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.
