China's Tianwen-1 lander (2021) delivered the Zhurong rover to Utopia Planitia on Mars, making China the second nation to operate a rover on the Martian surface. It used a combination of aeroshell, parachute and retro-propulsion with hazard-avoidance hovering for landing.
