Lunar Excursion Vehicle 1. Small hopping/jumping micro-rover deployed by SLIM just before touchdown on 19 January 2024. Uses leaf-spring legs to hop across the lunar surface. Operated autonomously without ground commands, communicating with Earth directly via UHF antenna — a first for a lunar surface vehicle.
