First Indian lunar rover and the first rover ever to operate near the lunar south pole. Deployed from the Vikram lander on 23 August 2023. Operated for 12 days (one lunar day) traversing 101.4 m before lunar night ended its mission. Could not be revived afterward but completed all mission objectives, including confirming the presence of sulfur and oxygen in the south polar regolith.
