Australian Space Agency · Aerospace · 2026
Australia's first lunar rover - a 20kg semi-autonomous rover about the size of a carry-on suitcase, named by public competition. Built by the ELO2 consortium under a $42M Australian Space Agency investment, it will land in the lunar south pole region aboard the CT-4 lander via NASA's CLPS program, operating for 14 Earth days while collecting regolith data and hosting a NASA oxygen-extraction payload.
