A pioneering self-driving vehicle research platform. In its famous 1979 run under Hans Moravec, the Cart crossed a chair-filled room entirely autonomously in about five hours, using stereo TV vision processed by a remote mainframe — ancestral DNA of every modern autonomous vehicle.
