Iron Ox · Agricultural · 2018
Iron Ox's first-generation autonomous greenhouse robot — a UR10-derived robotic arm 'Max' that worked alongside the mobile module 'Angus' to transplant, harvest, and care for plants in Iron Ox's San Carlos greenhouse. Demonstrated the company's vision of fully robotic indoor agriculture, with computer vision plant-by-plant care. Replaced in later Iron Ox systems by the more capable Phil/Sage/Olive arms with custom designs. Operational at Iron Ox's pilot greenhouse 2018-2022.
