The Universal Robots UR7e is the medium-duty member of UR's proven e-Series, delivering a 7.5 kg payload and 850 mm reach at ±0.03 mm repeatability from a compact 20.6 kg arm on a Ø151 mm footprint. Introduced in 2025 as a renamed, payload-upgraded successor to the UR5e (UR's best-selling size), it fills the gap between the UR3e and UR12e while keeping the e-Series' defining strengths: a built-in tool-flange force/torque sensor (±50 N / ±10 Nm, precision ±3.5 N), 21 configurable safety functions certified PL d Cat. 3, 4 m/s TCP speed, IP54 sealing, and any-orientation mounting. It runs UR's industry-standard PolyScope software on a 12-inch touchscreen with freedrive teaching and the vast UR+ ecosystem of certified end-effectors and apps, plus Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET/PROFIsafe and ROS/ROS2. With over 100,000 UR cobots delivered worldwide, the e-Series is the reference platform for collaborative automation; the UR7e targets machine tending, assembly, screwdriving and inspection where reach and accuracy matter in tight cells.
