The Universal Robots UR12e is the renamed, payload-upgraded successor to UR's best-selling UR10e — a 6-axis e-Series cobot now rated at 12.5 kg payload across a 1,300 mm reach with ±0.03 mm repeatability. It keeps the full e-Series platform: a built-in force/torque sensor (±50 N / ±10 Nm), 21 configurable PL d Cat. 3 safety functions, 4 m/s TCP speed, IP54 sealing, and any-orientation mounting, all programmed through PolyScope on a 12-inch touchscreen with freedrive teaching and the UR+ accessory ecosystem. The extra payload targets palletizing, machine tending and packaging of heavier items without sacrificing UR's hallmark ease of deployment and small footprint. Backed by the largest cobot install base in the world (100,000+ units) and the deepest third-party ecosystem, the UR12e is a workhorse for medium-to-heavy collaborative automation across industries.
