CarryPick, from Swisslog (a KUKA Group company), is a goods-to-person automated storage and picking system for multi-channel intralogistics: a swarm of KMP600 mobile robots navigates a floor grid to bring entire mobile racks to picking workstations, eliminating worker travel. Each KMP600 vehicle — developed jointly by Swisslog and KUKA — lifts and carries mobile racks up to 600 kg at a product mass of 209 kg, coordinated as a fleet by Swisslog's SynQ software with pick-by-light and pick-pointer guidance at the workstations to cut error rates. The standard racks customise to different article sizes and shapes (notably hanging garments for fashion), and the system needs only modest warehouse building requirements, letting operators react quickly to changing product ranges.
