Shark Robotics · Military · 2019
Rugged electric support UGV from France's Shark Robotics for fire-fighting, equipment transport, casualty evacuation and reconnaissance. Built from aeronautical-grade aluminium and welded steel to IP67, it withstands thermal radiation, carries up to 550 kg (2 t traction) on a 485 kg base, and crosses 0.3 m obstacles and water while climbing 50° gradients. Two 4 kW motors on six 29.8 V Li-ion batteries give 8 hours' operation (12 h max) at 3.5 km/h, with 200 m indoor / 500 m line-of-sight comms extendable to 5 km. In service with the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP) — it helped fight the 2019 Notre-Dame fire.
