The Sarcos Guardian DX (Dexterous Robotic System) is a teleoperated, highly-dexterous dual-arm robot that combines human control with robotic strength and precision — an operator drives the robot remotely through a haptic control station, feeling force feedback as if their own hands were performing the task, while onboard AI augments and can learn from the operator's demonstrations. It targets manipulation in hazardous or hard-to-reach environments — industrial inspection and maintenance, construction, energy, aviation and defense — where human dexterity is needed but human presence is dangerous. Sarcos (which also developed the Guardian XO exoskeleton) positions it to blend teleoperation with growing autonomy.
