The RealMan RMC-DA Dual Arm Compound Robot is a humanoid-inspired mobile manipulation platform mounting two of RealMan's 7-DoF RM75 ultra-lightweight arms (5 kg payload, 610 mm reach, ±0.05 mm repeatability, 180°/s joint speed each) on an autonomous chassis — 1,350 mm tall with a 2,070 mm maximum arm span. The 8-wheel base combines mecanum wheels, differential drive and active suspension driven by twin 250 W hub servo motors, with a sensing stack of 10 m laser-ranging LiDAR, depth camera and ultrasonic sensors feeding laser-plus-visual obstacle avoidance. Published endurance is ~20 hours standby and ~11 hours of operation at 0.7 m/s unloaded. Onboard compute is a Jetson-class NVIDIA module (384-core Volta GPU with 48 Tensor Cores, 6-core Carmel CPU, 8 GB) running Ubuntu, and safety layers include force sensing on the arms and a hardware e-stop. Built entirely on RealMan's in-house controllers, drivers, motors and harmonic reducers, the RMC-DA targets bimanual research, embodied-AI training, education and service-automation demonstrations.
