RealMan · Industrial · 2023
The RealMan RM65-B is the flagship of the ultra-lightweight humanoid robotic arm category RealMan defined — a 6-DoF arm modelled 1:1 on the human arm that weighs just 7.2 kg including its integrated controller while lifting a 5 kg rated payload (9 kg peak) across a 610 mm working radius, a payload-to-weight ratio roughly four times better than conventional cobots. RealMan builds its own harmonic reducers (−50% volume, −40% weight vs peers), servo motors, drivers and controllers, which is how the arm needs no external cabinet: it runs from 24 VDC on a Ø110 mm base with ±0.05 mm repeatability and IP54 protection. A contact-stop safety module enables fenceless collaboration and drag teaching, with control via pendant, open JSON API, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB serial or RS485, plus official ROS/MoveIt packages. Its size and power budget make it the default arm for Chinese humanoid torsos, mobile manipulators and research platforms; 6F force-sensing and B-V vision variants extend the family.
