Rainbow Robotics · Industrial · 2021
The Rainbow Robotics RB20-1900 is the flagship of the RB collaborative series — 20 kg payload across an exceptional 1,900 mm reach at ±0.05 mm repeatability, the strongest and longest-reaching arm Rainbow makes, aimed at heavy palletizing, machine loading and large-part handling that most cobots can't physically cover. It shares the RB platform's accessibility hallmarks: sub-one-hour commissioning from unboxing, and teaching from an ordinary Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy) or Windows rather than a proprietary pendant, with built-in pneumatics and a broad accessory ecosystem. The 75 kg arm carries IP66 sealing and collision detection for fenceless collaboration, runs from Rainbow's modern control box with extensive connectivity, and is built on the same industrial-grade actuators Rainbow — the KAIST-founded, publicly traded (KRX: 277810) maker of the DARPA-winning HUBO humanoid — uses across its platforms.
