Fifth-generation TALON — a rugged, lightweight tracked robot in continuous military service since 2000, when it was first used in Bosnia for grenade disposal. TALON V was the first man-portable robot to complete the US Army's TARDEC Interoperability Profile (IOP). Configurable with more than 60 mission packages for EOD, reconnaissance, CBRNE and communications, controlled over RF or fibre-optic link. More than 4,000 TALONs operate with the US and allied forces.
