QinetiQ's MAARS (Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System) is a tracked unmanned ground robot designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition, able to mount a remote weapon station (such as an M240B machine gun or 40 mm grenade launcher). It lets forces apply firepower and ISR from forward positions while crews stay protected.
