Percepto · Drones · 2016
Percepto's original autonomous drone-in-a-box - the first-generation industrial inspection drone (introduced around 2017) that launched the company's fully autonomous inspection-and-monitoring approach. It lived in a weatherproof base station, taking off on pre-programmed BVLOS missions to inspect and monitor industrial sites, carrying an HD RGB camera and a FLIR thermal imager, with data managed through Percepto's Core/AIM software. Deployed worldwide for perimeter security and asset inspection across mining, oil & gas and utilities, the Sparrow was upgraded and rebranded as the Percepto Air Max in 2021, so the 'Sparrow' name is now legacy.
