The NEURA Robotics LARA 3 is the compact entry to the German company's LARA cobot line — 3 kg payload across 590 mm reach at ±0.02 mm repeatability, aimed at precise assembly, handling and test processes in tight workspaces. Torque sensors in every joint feed an integrated safety concept rated PL d Cat. 3 / SIL 2 with safe position, speed and torque monitoring, enabling cage-free collaboration, while IP66 sealing (unusually high for a cobot) handles harsh, dusty or wet production environments across 0–40 °C. NEURA's in-house motors and high-precision encoders drive accuracy; programming runs through a graphical interface, ZeroG hand-guided teaching and motion-path recording, with pre-configured application packages for immediate deployment. The controller speaks EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/RTU and RS-485 with 8 high-speed GPIO.
