LimX Dynamics · Quadruped · 2023
The LimX W1 was LimX Dynamics' first wheeled-legged robot, released September 2023 — an early research platform that skates on wheels mounted at each leg-end while retaining the ability to stand, walk and climb like a legged robot. It demonstrated hybrid wheel-legged locomotion at up to 10 m/s (wheeled) with a 15 kg payload. As LimX's first-generation legged platform (preceding the TRON series and its humanoids), W1 has since been superseded and is no longer in the current product lineup, so detailed specifications are limited; unpublished fields are flagged for outreach rather than guessed. Verified specs and history from LimX's official site and company timeline.
