LG's 'Self-Driving AI Home Hub' — a cute companion robot that rolls around the house on two gyroscopic one-wheeled legs, balancing itself while it moves. With bright expressive eyes, cameras, a microphone array and generative-AI voice conversation, Q9 acts as a mobile personal assistant and the physical face of LG's ThinQ smart home: it greets and chats with the family, reports on overnight energy use, sleep and temperature, delivers weather and reminders, and relays commands to LG appliances. LG frames it around 'Affectionate Intelligence' — AI meant to understand and empathize with users — and offers it on a subscription model. It's the forerunner to LG's CLOiD home humanoid (CES 2026).
