The KUKA LBR iisy 3 R760 is KUKA's accessible, plug-and-produce cobot — a 3 kg / 760 mm 6-axis arm at ±0.1 mm repeatability and 22.8 kg, built to get non-experts from unboxing to a running basic application in about 30 minutes. Integrated joint torque sensors make it sensitive enough for fenceless collaboration with hand guiding, certified PL d Cat. 3, and it's the entry point to a family spanning 3, 6, 8, 11 and 15 kg payloads. Its real platform advance is software: the LBR iisy runs KUKA's newest operating system, iiQKA.OS, on the compact KR C5 micro control box with the smartPAD-Pro, and the iiQKA 'Robotics Republic' ecosystem lets users bolt on grippers, vision and other components app-store style for rapid repurposing. KUKA leans on decades of industrial componentry for the durability claim, positioning the iisy as reliable industrial technology in an approachable collaborative package.
