Kinova · Industrial
The Kinova Gen3 lite is the compact, cost-efficient member of Kinova's ultra-lightweight arm family — a 6-axis arm at just 5.4 kg with a 0.5 kg payload, 760 mm reach and an integrated 2-finger adaptive gripper included, aimed squarely at professional academic education and cost-sensitive research. It shares the Gen3 platform's software DNA: the robust Kortex API (C++/Python), official ROS/ROS 2 drivers, and program compatibility so code can be shared and coordinated across Gen3 lite and full Gen3 units. Ultra-lightweight and power-efficient (24 V DC), it's well suited to mobile applications and teaching labs where portability and agility matter, giving students and researchers professional-grade manipulation — torque-sensing joints, 1 kHz-class control heritage — at an accessible price point below the full Gen3.
