The JAKA Zu 3 is the entry point to JAKA Robotics' flagship Zu series of collaborative robots — a 3 kg-payload, 626 mm-reach 6-axis arm weighing just 12 kg, making it one of the lightest full-function cobots in its class. Built around JAKA's integral joint modules (motor, drive and encoder unified in each joint), it delivers ±0.02 mm repeatability at TCP speeds up to 1.5 m/s while drawing a typical 150 W. Its defining trait is JAKA's wireless, pendant-free workflow: the arm is taught by physically dragging it (free-drive) or via drag-and-drop graphical programming on a phone, tablet or PC over built-in Wi-Fi. Collision detection allows fenceless operation alongside workers per ISO 10218-1. With an IP54 body, any-orientation mounting and a 129 mm footprint, the Zu 3 targets 3C electronics lines — screwdriving, small assembly and precision pick & place — with an 80,000-hour MTBF and a Zu 3s variant adding an integrated force/torque sensor.
