JAKA · Industrial · 2020
The JAKA Zu 20 is the long-reach heavy-lifter of the Zu collaborative series — 20 kg payload across a class-leading 1,780 mm reach, with ±0.05 mm repeatability and TCP speeds up to 5 m/s, the fastest in the JAKA lineup. Its IP65-sealed body (a step above the IP54 of its smaller siblings) suits dusty or wet production environments, and at 68 kg with a 246 mm footprint it still mounts floor, wall, ceiling or at any angle. The joint architecture trades J1–J3 speed (120°/s) for torque while keeping fast 220°/s wrist axes, matching its palletizing, welding and heavy machine-tending brief. It retains the full JAKA collaborative toolkit: pendant-free wireless teaching by drag or graphical app programming, collision detection for fenceless ISO 10218-1 operation, an ISO 9409-1 flange, and the standard IP44 cabinet with 16/16 I/O and four industrial fieldbus protocols. Typical draw is 750 W; MTBF is rated at 80,000 hours.
