JAKA · Industrial · 2021
The JAKA MiniCobo, launched in mid-2021, is JAKA Robotics' smallest collaborative robot — a rounded, cable-free 6-axis arm weighing 9.4 kg with a 1 kg payload and 580 mm reach, designed for settings where appearance and quiet operation matter as much as capability. Its built-in communication port removes external tool cabling, and intelligent control algorithms plus near-silent running suit it to customer-facing work: robotic coffee and beverage stations, retail, education, hospitality and entertainment. It runs from a 24 VDC supply through the tiny MiniCab controller (180×128×47 mm), draws a typical 150 W, and mounts on panels, guide rails or at any angle from a 124 mm footprint. Teaching follows the standard JAKA pendant-free model — free-drive drag teaching and graphical programming over Wi-Fi from a phone or PC — with collision detection for fenceless ISO 10218-1 collaboration. A Mini 2 sibling doubles payload to 2 kg on a 48 VDC supply. Repeatability is ±0.1 mm, ample for its service-sector brief.
