The JAKA Ai 3 is the smallest of JAKA's All-in-one (Ai) collaborative robots — the line built on the company's S³ principle (Smart, Simple, Small) that ships with machine vision integrated rather than bolted on. It pairs the Zu 3's mechanicals (3 kg payload, 626 mm reach, ±0.02 mm repeatability, 12 kg mass) with a built-in JAKA Lens 2D camera — 5 MP at 24 fps with selectable 8 mm or 16 mm optics resolving to 0.04 mm — whose control and configuration live entirely inside JAKA's own software, no third-party vision licence required. The Ai series also introduces the MiniCab, one of the smallest control cabinets on the market (180×28×47 mm, ~1.7 kg, DC 30–60 V), letting the whole cell ride on a mobile platform or fit inside confined machinery. Teaching is wireless and pendant-free, collision detection enables fenceless ISO 10218-1 collaboration, and the standard fieldbus set (TCP/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP) is carried through the MiniCab.
