iRobot · Consumer · 2019
iRobot's ambitious robot mower (Terra t7), announced 2019 - it used wireless beacons plus vSLAM mapping to mow without any boundary wire, from the makers of the Roomba. Development was PAUSED in 2020 as iRobot refocused during the pandemic, and the Terra never reached full market release - a notable 'what-if' in robotic-mower history.
