The Hyundai Robotics YL012 is the medium model of Hyundai's YL collaborative series — a 6-axis, 12 kg-payload cobot with a 1,305 mm reach, developed to operate directly alongside human workers. A Red Dot Design Award winner, its slim, organic, right-angle-free form isn't just aesthetic: all pneumatic, electrical and communication wiring is routed inside the arm joints for a clean profile that reduces snag points and interference in tight spaces, while cutting weight. LED flash lamps give 360° status visibility and an ergonomic handgrip with intuitive switches makes teaching quick and direct. It supports an unusually broad fieldbus set — PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, CANopen, CC-Link (and IE Field), EtherCAT and Modbus TCP — for easy line integration, and its 12 kg reach suits palletizing, packaging, machine loading, polishing/deburring, gluing, injection-molding tending and inspection. A smaller YL005 (5 kg, 916 mm) completes the pair.
