A US-built eight-rotor heavy-lift agricultural spray drone from Hylio (Richmond/Houston, Texas), designed for large North American acreage with full operator control over hardware and data (no proprietary lock-in). It carries an 18-gallon (68.2 L) spray tank with a 40 ft (12.2 m) swath and 15 L/min flow through industry-standard TeeJet nozzles, covering ~50 acres/hour. The airframe weighs 53 kg empty with a 181 kg max takeoff weight and 272 kg combined thrust, running two 51.8 V LiPo packs (2,176 Wh) for 10–15 min flights and ~25–30 min recharge. Wide-angle radar gives near-spherical obstacle detection, and one operator can run up to three drones via the ruggedized GroundLink controller (13.3-inch Windows tablet). FAA Part 137 and NDAA compliant, modular and field-serviceable.
