Hanwha Robotics · Industrial
The Hanwha HCR-5W is an ultra-lightweight, ultra-compact cobot specialised for welding — at roughly 10.9 kg it is light enough for a single worker to carry between weld stations, while lifting a class-leading 4.5 kg payload across a 625 mm working range. Hanwha pitches it at job shops and fabricators that need a weld cobot to move to the work rather than the reverse, with SIL functional-safety and UL certification alongside CE and ISO. It shares the HCR platform's direct teaching, collision detection and touch-pendant workflow. Joint-level ranges, speeds and repeatability for the 5W aren't yet in Hanwha's published English parameter sheet — logged as outreach items.
